Leading Aquatics Developer and Licensee Pairs With Successful Book Franchise

C Walters Intercoastal Corp. (CWIC), based in Foothill Ranch, Calif., has signed a licensing agreement with “For Dummies®”, the ubiquitous yellow-and-black reference series, to develop and market a collection of aquatic-activity themed products, representative of the company’s long and established history of quality water sports products. The complete “For Dummies” product line will be available for sale at retailers in both the U.S. and Canada in early 2010.

“CWIC is one of the most trusted names in aquatics designing and developing quality aquatic products for over 15 years,” said CWIC founder Cindi Walters. “Licensing the ‘For Dummies’ line allows us to grow our market share with one of the most trusted and established names in the world.  You know that when you are buying a ‘For Dummies’ product you are getting quality and instruction.”  
CWIC will brand several “For Dummies” aquatic sets including, Teaching Kids to Swim For Dummies, Snorkeling For Dummies (for both juniors and adults), and Aqua Fitness For Dummies.

Teaching Kids to Swim For Dummies is a must have for any parent looking to teach their child to swim or gain water confidence.  The complete set will include a neoprene wrapped kickboard, two floating three-chambered neoprene wrapped armbands, and neoprene padded fins developed for optimum performance in the water and the ability to easily walk outside of the pool.

Snorkeling For Dummies will include the combination package that put CWIC at the top of the snorkeling market: a 100% silicone mask, a 100% dry snorkel, and fins developed and designed specifically for recreational use by juniors and adults.

Aqua Fitness For Dummies will be an adaptation of the very popular fitness set developed by CWIC CEO and founder Cindi Walters. The set will include one waist belt, wrist belts, ankle belts, aquatic resistance mitts, and a waterproof exercise and users’ guide.
